Website Redesign & Creation for Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative (SnapCo.) & Toni-Michelle Williams

Organization Overview

Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative (SnapCo.) is a Black trans-led nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, working to build safety, power, and liberation for Black transgender, queer, and marginalized communities through organizing, advocacy, mutual aid, leadership development, political education, and cultural programming.

As the organization has expanded its impact locally and nationally, SnapCo. has outgrown its current digital presence. We are seeking a creative agency to redesign our organizational website while also developing a new professional website for Executive Director Toni-Michelle Williams.

We are looking for a strategic partner capable of creating digital experiences that strengthen storytelling, community engagement, fundraising, and movement building while reflecting the organization's bold vision and values.

Project Overview

SnapCo. seeks proposals from experienced web design agencies to provide strategy, design, development, and implementation for two complementary websites:

  • A redesigned organizational website for Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative.

  • A new professional website for Executive Director Toni-Michelle Williams.

Although these websites will serve different audiences, they should reflect a cohesive visual identity while allowing each platform to fulfill its own distinct purpose.
The selected agency will work collaboratively with SnapCo. staff to create websites that are visually compelling, accessible, easy to manage, and built to support the organization's long-term communications and organizational goals.

Anticipated Website Components

  • The redesigned SnapCo. website is expected to include sections for organizational information, campaigns, programs, events, resources, news, membership, donations, volunteer engagement, and organizational impact.

  • The Toni-Michelle Williams website should serve as a professional platform highlighting her biography, speaking engagements, media appearances, publications, thought leadership, advocacy work, and contact information.

  • Both websites should be fully responsive, accessible, visually engaging, and easy for staff to update through a content management system.

Deliverables

  • Proposals should clearly describe all proposed deliverables.

  • Expected deliverables include site architecture, wireframes, visual design concepts, responsive page designs, fully developed websites, CMS configuration, migration of approved content, technical documentation, administrator training, and launch support.

  • Vendors should also describe their post-launch support options and recommended maintenance services.

  • support institutional partnerships

  • establish Toni-Michelle Williams as a national thought leader

  • prepare the public launch of Providential Paradise

  • create a scalable digital platform capable of supporting future campaigns and organizational growth

We are looking for a firm to facilitate workshops that help define:

  • organizational narrative

  • audience segmentation

  • user journeys

  • institutional positioning

  • brand architecture

  • content strategy

  • messaging framework

  • information architecture

  • future growth roadmap

Technical Requirements

  • The selected agency should recommend a secure, scalable content management system that allows SnapCo. staff to easily manage website content without requiring advanced technical knowledge.

  • Websites should be optimized for desktop and mobile devices, search engines, accessibility, and performance.

  • The agency should also provide recommendations regarding hosting, security, backups, software updates, and ongoing maintenance.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

Upon completion of the project and final payment, Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative shall retain full ownership of all final website designs, source files, design assets, content, documentation, administrative credentials, and website code developed specifically for this project.

The selected agency should identify any third-party software, plugins, templates, or licensed assets that may require ongoing subscriptions or licensing fees.

SnapCo. expects full administrative access to all websites, hosting environments, analytics accounts, and related digital assets upon project completion.

Vendor Qualifications

  • Qualified agencies should demonstrate experience designing websites for nonprofit organizations, advocacy organizations, foundations, cultural institutions, or other mission-driven organizations.

  • Experience with accessibility, inclusive design, fundraising, storytelling, community engagement, and strategic communications is highly desired.

  • Experience working with Black-led, LGBTQ+, transgender, or social justice organizations is welcomed.

Proposal Requirements

Proposals should include:

  • Project approach and methodology

  • Staffing plan

  • Budget and pricing

  • Ongoing maintenance options

  • Accessibility approach

  • Content migration approach

Budget

Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative is a nonprofit organization operating as a fiscally sponsored 501(c)(3) project.

Vendors are asked to provide an itemized budget outlining costs associated with discovery, design, development, project management, content migration, accessibility, training, launch support, and any recurring software or licensing fees.

SnapCo. respectfully requests that agencies consider nonprofit pricing and identify opportunities to maximize impact while remaining mindful of organizational resources.
Alternative pricing options or phased implementation recommendations are welcome.
