Since 2013, SNaPCo has been in the strategy and spirit work of protecting the rights and dignity of Black Trans people in Atlanta, particularly sex workers, formerly incarcerated folks, and people living with HIV. At the heels of an historic collaboration and victory with Women on the Rise, the Racial Justice Action Center, and the 39 alliance members surrounding the closing and repurposing of the Atlanta City Detention Center (ACDC), we are a committed to a transformative campaign that would deprioritize arrest for solicitation in Atlanta; decriminalize Sex Work in Georgia while transforming transphobia and cultivating an Atlanta that is spacious and deep enough to hold the vastness and complexities of Black, trans, and queer experiences. We will not win alone and we wouldn’t dare try! It’s all about the people, baby! Join the Collabo!
