Atlanta Trans Leadership

ATL was developed by Toni-Michelle Williams with support from Dean Steed, Xochitl Bervera, Ms. Dee Dee Chamblee and BT in 2015. The internship program serves as a 16 week course in action that educates and empowers members of Atlanta’s trans community to become leaders in ending the crisis of mass criminalization, especially as it impacts TLGB communities in Atlanta and the metro area. Our leaders have grown into bad ass organizers and advocates for Trans Liberation in Atlanta and around the country by SLAYYYING us with policies, projects and transformative organizing practices that free us all. Check out the Black Trans Futures zine for more stories about the ATL Internship programs.
